Obituary of David A Randall

David Alof Randall, 94, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2023. He held a private pilot license as a youth and served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in the Mexican mission for three years where he grew to love the people, culture and language. Upon returning he was drafted into the Army and his eyesight no longer made him eligible to fly as a pilot so he trained as a mechanic for radio controlled aircrafts and as a supply manager. While stationed in Texas he became acquainted with Olga Corona who was serving her mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Juarez Mexico. They married shortly thereafter and settled in Mesa, Arizona where David worked for the City of Mesa in warehousing for eighteen years. He served as a Spanish temple worker for almost fourteen years, he was assistant Stake clerk for twelve years and served a mission in retirement at the Bishop's storehouse. He is survived by his sister Ellen Goza his children ... Cathy (Steve) Nelson, David (Sandy) Randall, Rebecca (Richard) Cummard, and Ruth (Darren) Cook; Sixteen grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren. A service will be held on Friday December 15, 2023 at 11:00 Am at the Miller Ward Building of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 933 E. Brown Road in Mesa. Condolences received from 10-11 AM that morning.
