Obituary of Earl Vernon Nichols

We lost our Dad and Hero on November 17, 2023 at the age of 84 in Mesa, Arizona.

Earl was born June 17, 1939. He was the 9th child of 11 to Alfred and Rachel Nichols. He went to Lehi Elementary, Mesa Jr High, and Mesa High School. Earl was on a horse as soon as he learned to walk. He loved playing football, wrestling, and roping. Earl married his forever sweetheart Sybil Workman on June 20, 1957 in the Mesa Temple. They raised six children in Gilbert; Penny (Leo) Pew, Tammy (John) Wagner, Chris (Lisle) Randall, Burke (Charla) Nichols, Warde (Paula) Nichols, and Marlene Littleben. He taught us to work hard and play hard. Earl leaves a large legacy of 20 grand kids and 58 great grand kids.

The family will have a visitation open to the public on November 27th at 10 am at Meldrums Mortuary. We will then go to the Mesa City Cemetery at 11:30am for the dedication of the grave.
