Obituary of Irene Katherine Doland

Irene "Renie" Katherine Doland, 80, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. She was born the second of three sisters to Norwood & Edna Doland in Sussex, NJ on March 20, 1943. Renie graduated from Boston's Children's Hospital of Nursing in 1969 and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Biola University in 1973. Over the years she was employed as a Registered Nurse, a Biofeedback Training Technician, and in later years worked for a forensic psychologist where she administered psychiatric tests to violent offenders.

An avid reader, seamstress, baker, and organic gardener, Renie was devoted to her dogs, and was a selfless daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and godmother who generously cared for others throughout her adult life. 

Irene is survived by her sister Mary Ellen (Charles) of Mesa, AZ, nephew Joel of Las Vegas, NV, niece Kristy (Paul) and their children and grandchildren of Davidson, NC. She is predeceased by her parents and her sister Virginia Doland.

Internment will be at the Anaheim Cemetery in Anaheim, CA at a later date where she will be laid to rest with her beloved parents.
