Debi Valenzuela

Obituary of Debi Jo Valenzuela

Debi Jo Valenzuela, 63, of Queen Creek, Arizona, bid farewell to this world on August 30, 2023, leaving behind a trail of laughter and love. She was known for her quick wit, infectious smile, and a heart full of joy.

Born on October 19, 1959, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Debi brought sunshine into the lives of all who knew her. She was a master of customer service, dedicating a respectable 30 years to Fry's, where her coworkers became her second family. Debi's charm and storytelling skills made her a favorite among regular customers, who couldn't resist coming back for more tales of her wonderful family.

When she wasn't busy brightening up the aisles, Debi's favorite pastime was strolling hand-in-hand with her incredible husband, Carlos. They could walk for hours, turning mundane errands into delightful adventures. As a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Debi cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. From cheering on at football games to applauding music recitals, she was the ultimate family cheerleader. And let's not forget her recent obsession with diamond art – she truly knew how to sparkle!

Debi's memory will forever be cherished by her adoring husband, Carlos Valenzuela, her mother, Jo Ann Harrington, her brothers, Jim Harrington ( Catherine ) and Mark Harrington, her daughter, Nicole Unger, her son, Ryan OGreen, her stepdaughter, Sally Dawson ( Shawn ), her daughter, Heather Valenzuela-Page ( Greg ), her son, Mariano Valenzuela ( Hanna ), and a whole bunch of grandkids and great-grandkids who inherited her zest for life.

To celebrate Debi's incredible journey, a playful and joy-filled celebration of life will be held on October 7th, from 11 am to 1 pm, at Debi and Carlos' house. It'll be a time to share stories, laughter, and maybe even a few of Debi's favorite jokes. After all, she always had a knack for bringing a smile to everyone's face.

As we bid adieu to our dear Debi, let us remember her as the life of the party, the queen of puns, and the epitome of love. May her spirit continue to shine bright, guiding us with her laughter and reminding us to cherish every precious moment.

And now, Debi, as you embark on your next grand adventure, we can't help but imagine you winking at us and saying, "Don't worry, I'll keep the laughter going up here too!" Farewell, dear friend. Keep the party rocking wherever you may be!
