Obituary of John Elmer Fahlgren Jr.

John Elmer Fahlgren Jr. was born January 7, 1928 in Bismarck, North Dakota. John passed away Wednesday June 21, 2023 in Chandler, Arizona.
He attended school in Bismarck, North Dakota and obtained his Associate’s degree at Bismarck Junior College. John served in the US Army from August 1946-January 1948. He served with the 590th Engineer Base Survey Company in Pusan, Korea.
He married Lillian Hoff July 30th 1950. He worked as a civil engineer for the Bureau of Reclamation for 35 years.

He is survived by his son; John T. Fahlgren, daughters; Susan E. Vovakes (Fahlgren), and Nancy A. Fahlgren; brother; Winston L. Fahlgren. Grandchildren; Nicholas Fahlgren, Ariel Hutson (Vovakes) and Michelle Fahlgren.
