Obituary of Tyler Hansen

Jason “Tyler” Hansen passed away early on Saturday, June 10th, 2023. Tyler was 43 years old. He was born in St. George, Utah to Marilyn Kidd Carter and Charles Hansen. Tyler is survived by his daughter Bailey Marie, his mother Marilyn Arlene Kidd Carter, his brother Bradley James Hansen (Aleca), and sister Marissa Coates (Ryan), and beloved nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and many loving cousins, He was preceded in death by his elder brother Eric Scott Hansen, his father Charles Lee Hansen and beloved “grammy” Fern Arlene Adams. 

Ty was an amazing father to his daughter Bailey and they also enjoyed spending time together. He enjoyed snowboarding, collecting eclectic swords, sharing his witty sarcasm, and not smiling in pictures while wearing his signature shades. Ty was a proud tradesman, building residential and commercial buildings throughout Arizona.

A graveside service will be held at City of Mesa Cemetery located at 1212 N. Center Street, Mesa, Arizona 85201 at 9:00 am on Saturday, June 17, 2023.  Following the graveside service, the memorial service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 3527 W. Happy Valley Road, Glendale, Arizona 85310 at 11:00 am.
