Obituary of Lillian Irene Tucker

Lillian Irene Tucker, 76, passed away on September 6, 2004 in Surprise, AZ. She was born on July 4, 1928 in Slaton, Texas to Joseph and Lottie Robertson. Lillian was an accomplished quilter and a devoted homemaker. She and her husband are both retired AZ Republic employees. She is preceded in death by two daughters: Beverly and Barbara; and six brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband, Ray Tucker; daughters: Karen Murphy of Tucson, AZ, and Elaine Coleman of Surprise, AZ; three sons: Tom Haeckel of Killingworth, CT, Charlie Haeckel of New Haven, CT, and Gary Haeckel of Apache Junction, AZ; sisters: Norma Ferguson of San Angelo, TX and Myra Robertson of Clovis, NM; 14 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Thursday September 9, 2004 at 12:00 noon at Meldrum Mortuary, 52 N. Macdonld St. in Mesa, with a visitation one-hour prior.
