Obituary of Hazel H. Rocklin

Hazel "Toni" Rocklin, 71, passed away on October 23, 2004 in Mesa, AZ. She was born on September 11, 1933 in Liberty, KY to Oscar and Ethel Scherrer. She was the owner of two florist shops: Village Florist and Village Florista. During her youth, she modeled furs and appeared on several television shows in St. Louis. Hazel was a loving gardener and humming bird enthusiast, who also enjoyed collecting artwork. She was adored and respected by everyone she new. Hazel was a woman with true entrepreneurial spirit who was ahead of her time. A woman of dignity, pride, and character, with undying and unconditional love for her two sons. She is survived by her sons: Mark S. Rocklin of Phoenix, and Erik P. Rocklin of Mesa; two sisters: Opal Snodgrass and Mary Hale; and her brother, Morris Scherrer. A memorial service will be held on Friday October 29, 2004 at 2:00 PM at Meldrum Mortuary, 52 N. Macdonald St in Mesa.
