Obituary of Doris Rogers

Doris Gertrude Rogers was born October 31, 1934 in Ringling, OK. She went to be with the Lord on September 29, 2009. She was preceeded in death by her parents, J.A. Baker and Ella Mae Baker of Ringling, OK. Doris was a long time resident of Mesa, but also lived in Texas, Oklahoma and Alaska. She was also a member of First Southern Baptist Church of Mesa, AZ. She is survived by her seven children: Michael and wife Beverly Adcock of Amarillo, TX; Ricky and wife Beverly Smith of Anchorage, AK; Mickey and wife Linda Smith; Ronny Smith; Kenny and wife Carolyn Arrington; Dennis Arrington and Darla and husband Benny Hedges of Arizona. Eighteen grandchildren: Shannon and husband Clay Wallace, Melissa and husband Jeremiah Metsinger, Carla Smith, Christy and husband Tom Dempsey, John Smith, Samantha Smith, Ronny Smith, Shirley Smith, Tanner Arrington, Christopher Arrington, Michael Arrington, Matthew Arrington, Caileen Arrington, Jace Arrington, Mylee Arrington, Stephen Pape, Amber Hedges and April Hedges. Ten great-grandchildren: Spencer and Sailor Wallace, Noah, Haddon and Silas Metsinger, Victoria and Nathanial Smith and Sydney, Brystol and Nevaeh Dempsey. Doris is also survived by her three sisters: Mary Jo Fish, Maydell Wilson of Ringling, Oklahoma and Shirley McCartney of Loco, Oklahoma, along with numerous cousins and friends.
