Obituary of John Edward Gilmore II

John Edward Gilmore, II passed away peacefully on December 4, 2020. Born in San Antonio, Texas on August 14, 1946 to John & Joyce Gilmore, he was the oldest of their 6 children. John was preceded in death by his father (John E), mother (Joyce) & sister (Karen) and is survived by his son John, daughter Sharon, stepson Pernell, five grandchildren (William, Tristan, Nicholas, Evalynn and Charlotte), sisters Sue, Ruth, Joanne and brother Michael T. John was most proud of his family and his military service that included the Air Force and Arizona National Guard. He will be remembered as being kind, energetic and easy to laugh. He will be interred in Arlington National Cemetery.
