Obituary of Earl Leroy Flin

Earl LeRoy Flin, 92, of Mesa, AZ went to be with his Lord Saturday, April 29, 2023. Earl was born to Roy and Maude Flin, Frankfort, KS, on May 21st, 1930.

Earl was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Ruth Ann Flin (Gurtler), and youngest son, Ross Flin. Earl is survived by son Mark Flin of Mesa, daughters-in-law, Carol Flin of Mesa and Mary Flin of Topeka, KS; 3 grandchildren, Kristin Evans (of Flagstaff, AZ), Anna Hailey (of Topeka, KS) and Allison Brucks (of Fargo, ND); and 7 great-grandchildren, Ember, Reece, and Kade Evans and Ryken, Sorraya, Draden and Avonlea Brucks.

Earl served in the U.S. Army and then worked hard in his career as a farmer. Earl’s body will be laid to rest with Ruth Ann’s at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.

Memorials may be given to The Gideon’s International, a worthy organization in which Earl and Ruth Ann were faithfully involved for many years in Kansas.
