Nadine Grace

Obituary of Nadine E Grace

Nadine E. Grace, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, entered Eternal Life, peacefully in her sleep, on April 11, 2023.

Born December 9, 1930, Nadine was raised in Mesa, graduating from Mesa High School. She met and married Frank J. Grace while working for JC Penny Company in downtown Mesa and went on to raise five children while running a successful sign business (Grace Sign Company) for 30 years. She was a member of the Mesa Music Guild, Sirrine Adult Daycare Auxiliary, The Elks Lodge, Mesa Chamber of Commerce, and many other community organizations.

Nadine was devoted to her family and her beloved Queen of Peace Church, where she was active all her life. From singing in choir as a schoolgirl, she was always busy behind the scenes as a Eucharistic minister to the sick, being on various committees, teaching rosary at the school, cleaning the church and of course, always bringing flowers to contribute to the beautification of the church.

Nadine’s passion, however, was her devotion to our Blessed Mother Mary, Queen of Peace. She held weekly rosary in her home for years, honoring Our Lady and sharing her love for her. Her pilgrimages took her to many countries, always leading her back to Medjugorje.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Frank J Grace, all five siblings and three grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons: Donald Grace, and wife Sandy Kay, Frank Grace and Jan Lund, and her angel, Michael Grace. Daughters: Sandra Grace and Debra Cooper and husband Raphe.

Grandchildren: Stacy and Micah Miranda, children, Jackson Albers, Claire, Charlotte, and Easton. Stephane Day and Dave Silides, children, Avery and Ella Day and Faith and Brody Silides. Donny and Erin Grace, children, Branson, Fisher, and Carter. Michelle and Jeff Ramsey, children, Malia, Maddox, and Layla. Curtis Cooper and Lindsey O’Driscoll. Ryan and Danielle Cooper, and child, Jack.

Rosary to be held at 10:00am with Mass at 11:00am, Friday, April 21st, 2023, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church 30 W. 1st Street, Mesa, AZ 85201 with internment to follow at Mesa City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Queen of Peace for Nadine’s passion of the beautification of the church.
