I met Mike about 31 years ago through my husband Mitch Elsberry. Mike and Mitch have been close friends for over 40 years. I have a lot of memories going to the Dunes, Vegas, the lake, car shows and family gatherings. All 3 of my children looked up to Mike as there Uncle. When ever we seen him he always hugged us hello and goodbye. Getting that phone call at 6:00 in the morning letting us know that heaven took him from all of us on Earth. Mitch and I were in disbelief as I’m sure you all felt the same way. To this day I can not get him off my mind and can’t believe he is truly gone. My heart breaks for Jody, Justin, Jared, Suzanne, Bob, his siblings and all his friends. Life is not going to be the same without him. We went to a car show previously and I literally found myself looking for him to show up. His passing is very hard for me to believe that it’s real. I find myself thinking of him quite often and finding a huge lump in my throat. This one really hurts my heart and I feel so bad for my husband as he is not taking it so well. I want his family to know I love them very much and I’m here for you always. Mike you are going to be missed tremendously but I know you are watching us all with your soda cup in hand. Much love to all ❤️
