Obituary of Janis Catherine Hayward

On June 5, 2020, Janis Catherine Hayward, became an official angel of God. Born in Joplin, MO, Janis had been living in the East Valley for 35 years. She was the proud mother of three (Amy, Wes, and Mat) and Grammy of 11 grandchildren. Janis served her community through being a speech language pathologist for 53 years, being a devoted woman of God, member of a P.E.O. chapter, Mizzou Alumni, and pianist for multiple organizations. Those who loved Janis knew of her independent spirit, loving heart, forgiving nature, thoughtful and selfless being, and resilient and persevering love of life. Even though she is no longer with us, her precious spirit will live on in everyone she touched.
