Obituary of Gloria Ann Woolsey

Gloria Ann Woolsey, 81, of Gilbert, Arizona passed away peacefully on March 8, 2022 surrounded by family. Gloria was born in Salt Lake City to John Cable Jaques and Lena Lucille Jaques. She came to Arizona when she was 16 years old. She was an accomplished artist and was honored to have pieces in the Phoenix Art Museum for a time. She loved the ocean, scuba diving, sea shells, puzzles, drawing, sculpting, pottery making and all sorts of animals. She was an accomplished genealogist. Gloria was a fun-loving person who, with her husband Leonard, provided many amazing adventures for their family. They loved the family trips to Mexico, frolicking in the Arizona desert, and camping in the mountains, to name a few. She was a wonderful mother and had a special connection and ability to connect with children. She and her husband opened their home to many children throughout the years. Everyone loved her and felt comfortable calling her "Mom". Above all else, she cherished her husband, their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Lucille, her brothers Fred, Mike and Jack, and her sister Judy. Gloria is survived by her loving husband Leonard, their four children Tamara, Wayne, Virginia, and Rebecca, 21 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Cemetery Details City of Mesa Cemetery 1212 N.
