One summer, my husband Tony and I went to Canyon Lake with my in-laws; Uncle Nelson was working at the lake restaurant that day, and so when we entered, we saw him from across the room and he was so ecstatic to see us and us to see him. We will never forget how he took the time to introduce all of us as his family to everyone that was working that day. No one knew us, and probably really didn't care much, but Uncle Nelson cared. He always made us feel loved and important; any conversation that we had with him, he made sure to ask, genuinely, how we were doing and what was going on in our lives. There was never a moment that he didn't make us laugh (to the brink of tears!) and he was always in the greatest of spirit. He was truly the most unique individual, and he will forever be remembered and loved. We love you Uncle Nelson! :heart: -Amelia & Tony Larsen
