Obituary of Barbara Ann Horvath

Barbara Horvath, age 61, a loving mother of five and an adoring life partner to Ruben Guerrero, passed away in the early morning hours of May 22nd, 2022. Her blended family was nothing short of love. She loved all her children and grandbabies the same. Barbara is survived by her partner; Ruben Guerrero, children; Christina Horvath, Ruben Guerrero, Juan Guerrero, and Elena Dale. She is preceded in death by her son, David Horvath, father, Joseph Horvath, mother, Barbara Miller, Brothers, James Horvath, Richard Horvath, Robert Horvath, and Thomas Horvath. Barbara was born in Staten Island on September 19, 1960, to Joseph Horvath and Barbara Miller. Barbara enjoyed many of life's festivities during the 80's. This included her working as a pressman, yes she did it better than the boys, but her true passion was music. She had a burning love for the Ramon's and many other famous rock groups. She would attend concerts and enjoyed her job working at the 7-11. She swears the Ramon's wrote a song for her and her best friend during that time. While living in Staten Island she became a mother for the first time in 1983, bringing Christina Horvath into this world. In a short 4 years she would then have her first son David in 1987. After several years of staying in New York Barbara decided to follow her brothers to the Grand Canyon state Arizona. It wasn't long after moving to Arizona that Barbara would meet her life partner Ruben Guerrero and his two sons, Ruben and Juan Guerrero. Their love story is one for the books! Barbara met Ruben while working in Circle K. Ruben would come in all dirty and sweaty from work and make sure he was in her line to check out. With little hand brushings, and eye contact my dad was set that she was the one. Little did they know, fate was working its magic to bring them even closer together. They ended up in the same complex, her kitchen window facing his bedroom. Not too long after, was the shy quite Ruben up to his master plan. He sent his sister into the Circle K on Mother's Day and gave my mom a necklace with two hearts connected. She told my mom "This is you and Ruben's Coraz
