Obituary of Anna Mae Riggs

Anna Mae Riggs passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 12th, 2022. She was surrounded by her family in Chandler Arizona. She was born on June 15th, 1937 in Cincinnati Ohio to E.C. Lewis and Barbara Hall. At the age of 15 she moved to Arizona with her family after visiting there on vacation. While her brother, Walter, was serving in the Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton, he came home on liberty and brought one of his fellow Marines along. That is when Golden E. Riggs Jr. met Anna Mae Lewis. Eleven months later they were married on June 19th, 1954. Anna's biggest passions other than her family were; bowling, shopping and Native American Jewelry. She always wanted to take care of everyone. She was kind, compassionate, loving, funny and made everyone feel special. She was an amazing example of what human kindness looks like. The last thing she said was " I just love everybody." Anna was proceeded in death by her parents E.C. and Barbara Lewis and her siblings Wanita Bohsancurt, Delmar, Robert, and Walter Lewis. She is survived by her husband, Golden Earl Riggs Jr of 68 years and her children Debbie Moore, Randy, Ramon and Barbara Riggs along with many, many grandchildren, great grand-children and great-great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
