Obituary of Irene Margaret Lytle Fluhr

Irene Margaret Lytle Fluhr passed away on July 15, 2022 at the age of 93. Irene was born August 29, 1928 in Naco, Arizona. She was the third of five children born to William Henry Lytle and Mary Holt Lytle. Irene spent her childhood in Naco, Tucson and Globe graduating from Globe High School and settling in Mesa for the remainder of her life. She enjoyed a full life of traveling with her sisters to almost all of the 50 States and many parts of the world. She loved crafts and was a collector of many things but her favorite was collecting miniatures of all kinds, she loved sharing her gifts and talents with her family. Irene is survived by her children, Elizabeth Nipperus (Norman), Chris Fluhr (Michel) and Clay Fluhr, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Lorraine Hathcock and Sharon Lytle-Breen of Mesa. She was preceded in death by her husband Chris J. Fluhr and her grandson, Clint Fluhr. Memorial service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, July 25, 2022 at Meldrum Mortuary, 52 N Macdonald, Mesa. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice of the West in memory of Irene Fluhr, 21410 N. 19th Ave.,Phoenix, AZ 85027. Interment at the City of Mesa Cemetery.
